I did not know about this thing going on here, but I started reading Discworld novels on August 13th and I’ve already ready The Colour of Magic, The Light Fantastic, and Equal Rites and I have to say the first two Rincewind novels were excellent and Equal Rites was a breath of fresh air from the Rincewind story. Fantastic, highly recommended. It’s like a combination of High Fantasy and Monty Python.

    • Wow, that’s a fantastic late-in-the-game accomplishment! Glad to hear you enjoyed the first few books–I really think it just gets better from there. If you reviewed any of the books on a blog or other site, feel free to provide a link. I’m glad you found the challenge in time to get into some Discworld!

  2. I am happy to inform you I have now read and reviewed my first Discworld novel for this challenge, Unseen Academicals.
